This Ramadan's Must-Have Desserts

We all try to be healthy during the month of Ramadan, but sometimes it could be impossible to resist some of the desserts. We’ve gathered some that we think are worth gaining a few kilos for.

1- Nola's Konafa Volcano Cake

With their #NolaGoesOriental hashtag, Nola cupcakes has created a full mouthwatering menu of unique oriental ramadan desserts that couldn’t get more creative. Their konafa volcano cake seems to win among all options till now, because can it get any better than konafa and melted chocolate in the same plate?

2- The Batter Half and Co’s Nutella Basboosa

“We put nutella on everything because we love it too much, and basboosa is no exception,” is what the renowned dessert house said when captioning the picture of this heavenly plate. The tenderness of the basboosa along with the rich flavor of the nutella is a combination that The Batter Half nailed to perfection!

3- Troufa’s Konafa with Cranberries and Pistachios

Since the day they opened, Troufa has been bringing new plates to Egypt and exposing our bellies to a world of goodness. Their new konafa with cranberries and pistachios combines three of our favorite foods in one impossible-to-resist plate that could be gulped down in a heartbeat.

4- Tortina’s Om Ali with Crème Brûlée & Meringue

Every year, Tortina never ceases to amaze us. Their choice of innovation this year is exceptional, as each ingredient complements the other in this decadent plate. The fresh Om Ali and the subtle sweetness of the creme brulee and meringue is a treat you definitely don’t want to miss out on!

5- Four Fat Ladies’ Basboussa Strawberry Trifle

We think the name says it all and we don’t need to describe this plate anymore. Strawberry trifle has been the newest addition to Ramadan oriental dessert menus this year, and we personally believe they couldn’t have thought of anything better than that.
