How to Catch Up With Your Goodreads Challenge

As we approach the end of the year, many people around the world are feeling frustrated as they are way behind on their Goodreads Reading Challenge. You may be looking at the few books you read in 2018 and wondering where the time went. You were so excited at the beginning of the year, but now you’re struggling to finish just one book. Don't worry though; it's never too late to catch up and finish all the books you missed out on. Here are some tips to get you back on track.

Read Anywhere

From now on, keep a book with you wherever you go and read whenever you get the chance. Whether on the bus, between meetings or while having lunch, don’t waste another second not reading!

Start with Small Books

Maybe it’s the huge thousand-page book you started with that made you stop reading. Check your to-read list and pick smaller books that you can finish faster. This will encourage you to keep going.

Pick Interesting Stuff

If boredom is what's keeping you away from reading, then you need to change the book immediately. Go for a funny book or mystery novel that can get you in the reading mood once more.

Stick to a Deadline

Remember that you don’t have much time to waste; before you start reading a book, set a deadline for yourself and try to stick to it.

Read for Less

So many books and so little cash! If money is the obstacle, there are plenty of ways to read on a budget.
