EL Gouna Film Festival: The Best Fashion Moments

Last Friday we witnessed a huge cultural event: the premiere of the first official El Gouna Film Festival. Set to be held on an annual basis, the festival contains three competitive sections: the Feature Narrative Competition, the Feature Documentary Competition, and the Short Film Competition. The theme of this year’s event is ‘Cinema for Humanity.’

In terms of fashion, the event showed us how amazing Egyptian celebrities can look on a red carpet; most of them did a really good job dressing up. We’ve brought you the most iconic looks that looked particularly fabulous!

Cyrine Abdelnour

Cyrine looked amazing in a champagne Zuhair Murad dress with lots of shimmery beads. The style fit her perfectly along with champaign strap heels and a mini clutch.

Dorra Zarrouk

Dorra looked stunning in a Sohair ben Saad dress. The flowy, princess cut dress was paired with silver shoes and a glittery clutch.

Arwa Gouda

Arwa is always known for being a risk taker and a daredevil, which is why she wore a leather dress on the red carpet and nailed it. Looking as attractive as ever, she matched the Marmar Halim dress with pointy black heels and a black clutch.

Nelly Karim

Nelly played the young designer card this time with a very feminine dress from Kojak. She looked like a Greek goddess in a creme color that worked great with her skintone. She paired it with an amazing bag from Okhtein that elevated the look to a new kind of perfection.

Hana Shiha

Hana went for a fitted Norine Farah burgundy dress with a fringy skirt, pairing it with silver glittery platform shoes and a silver mini clutch.

Hend Sabry

The amazing Hend Sabry was a real ice queen on the red carpet. Looking as sophisticated and elegant as ever, she wore a Yousef Aljasmi dress that shone like stars on a clear night.

Yasmeen Sabry

The sexy Alexandrian actress went in a gold Yousef Aljasmi dress that fit her like a glove, making her look like an Oscar statue. She completed the look with a glittery gold clutch and a slick pony tail.

Yousra El Louzi

Yousra wore a very structured Kojak dress that flattered her body shape and her beautiful character. She styled the dress in the best way possible: with a perfect smile in every shot.

Boshra looked stunning in a black chiffon dress that shaped her body like a mannequin, pairing it with a black leather YSL clutch that completed the look.

Seba Mubarak

The Jordanian actress looked breathtaking in a dark blue dress that combines leather and tulle in a really unique detailing on the top. She completed the look with a dark silver clutch that made every bit of the outfit even better.
