Beloved James Bond Actor Dies at 89


Sir Roger Moore, the actor who portrayed James Bond in seven movies, died at the age of 89, according to the BBC.

Moore is survived by his wife and three children, who announced that he passed away after a "short but brave battle with cancer."

Some of the Bond movies Moore starred in included The Spy Who Loved Me, The Man with the Golden Gun and For Your Eyes Only.

Moore previously visited Egypt with his wife in 1999 to talk with youth at the children's camp for the Convention of the Rights of Children in Alexandria.
